In August 2022, the India cricket team embarked on a tour of Zimbabwe to participate in a series of three One Day International (ODI) matches. This ODI series was a significant part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Originally scheduled for August 2020, the series had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as confirmed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in June 2020. However, in July 2022, the series was rescheduled and eventually took place in August 2022. All the matches were held at the Harare Sports Club.
